Having passed the sign for the Golf Club on a number of occasions, I decided to investigate this place a bit further. It's a little bit of a winding road to get there but well worth the trip. I dont play golf but even I could see that the course is something out of the ordinary in Fenland terms because it's been landscaped so that there are trees and little inclines so that you can't see the next green as you can with so many other local courses. The driving range looks great with mirrors...this is apparently so that you can watch your swing?? There's a welcoming bar and restaurant with Sunday Carvery starting at £9.50. It's a great venue for a wedding reception too with some lovely spots for those all important photo opportunities, and with a spa development happening soon, it's bound to become a popular destination for everyone...even if you don't know one end of a golf club from the other!
