ReportWe should all be really proud that a local business in Wisbech has been nominated as a finalist in the 2011 Great Gift Awards, results due out on 19th May! The Greats Awards are owned and organised by Progressive Gifts & Home Worldwide. They recognise and celebrate not only the top independent and multiple gift retailers regionally and nationally, but also one-off niche retailers, garden centres and supermarkets as well as outstanding retail employees. We KNOW this is a great store - now the rest of the country does too - and if you haven't been along for a visit, pop in soon before you have to fight off the paparazzi outside!!

Octagon is a great gallery on two floors, the top floor is where it's at in terms of gifts and gorgeous items to buy. They do some lovely jewellery as well as nice art and other bits and pieces. The coffee shop is a really nice place to relax too, as it's very peaceful and an easy location to stop and read a book in a nice space full of art. They do delicious, moist cakes and the standard range of drinks; and unlike most galleries etc, they are reasonably priced and nicely presented. This is a fab place to escape the mayhem and pick up some beautiful items for Christmas or birthdays etc.
