Do you know what? I learned this very week that only half the school leavers at two local Primary Schools here in Wisbech will go to the Thomas Clarkson in September this year! Yes, they actually prefer to travel, by bus, to Peterborough, Marshlands, March, Spalding and Sutton. In winter, this must mean at least one hour each way. So why do we not start up a new secondary school right here for September 2011 and save them the travel?
