We visited The Tydd Gote Inn the other night & were very pleasantly surprised. The prices at the bar were very reasonable, every drink earned us a raffle ticket to a running jackpot, & there was a good range of choices. The food was excellent, tasty, well cooked & very good value. As a final bonus the service was excellent & we were made to feel very welcome. We shall definitely go again

Takeaway Carvery!
We've eaten at this pub a number of times and they do a great Monthly special in the week, usually for about a fiver each. It's good and lots of it. I like the pub because it's big enough for the kids to have a little bit of a run around and also easy to park as the car park is quite big and you always find a space. Plus, I've just found out that they do a normal carvery on a Sunday but if you are pushed for time, they will pack it up in a tin foil box with gravy in a carton and you can have it as a takeaway for about £5. What a great idea.
