Great Cinema

I agree with lazy_laydee, that a quick sweep around before the next showing could be done. But other than this the place is awesome, I love the sofa's and the feel of being at home, with a glass of wine etc. And also an added bonus for me suffering from panic attacks and not being able to travel far from home, I'm very gratefull that Wisbech has got "The Luxe" and LUXURIOUS it is.

    Lives up to it's name!

       

    We went to see The King's Speech (fab film) on Saturday and had a really good time at the Luxe. The decor is timeless and the seating is so comfy, you can almost imagine that you are at home. The size of the cinema makes you feel as if you are at a private showing and the fact that you can take your glass of wine in with you all ads to the grown-up feel. That said, the children coming out just before we went in for our showing seemed to be relaxed too so it's not TOO posh! The only tiny comment would be that our sofa still showed some evidence of the younger audience and could have done with a brush down, and between the cushions being checked for sticky sweets before the next audience arrive. It's a minor point and overall the service was unobtrusive and relaxed, yet they clearly work fast as everyone was served in time during the intermission. We will definitely visit again.
