Wisbech's 90p Store Closed Down!
By Laura_Spodula | Thursday, August 19, 2010, 14:50
Well, who saw this coming?! The latest discount store to bite the dust in Wisbech is the 90p Store, which is also as far as I am aware the latest to have opened.
There are no signs on the building to explain the closure, but all stock was cleared on Monday before the doors were closed and locked for the last time.
Apparently according to the Citizen a lot of the 90p Stores around the country have closed in the same manner. Now there's yet another empty commercial property in Wisbech.
Is anybody really surprised that this happened?

Reporti wasnt surprised to see the closure of this shop, but why was it opened it the first place when we have shops like this already in the town. I dont like to see shops empty either but at least let us have some that are worthwhile. Hello senecadiarist, i can see you actually take the trouble to read the stories and make comments.......this is good. Keep it up.

ReportFibreshack, I completely agree with everything you've said! Enough with this nonsense we need some quality shops! This topic is going round and round and not getting anywhere! I can't see an end to this discussion or problem! I can't see the shops getting any better, I mean how many discount stores has Wisbech seen come and go. It wont be the last. It's probably easy enough to predict that another one will be moving in!
I cant see any movement forward.
