Assuming you are from a local paper Senecadiarist, it is never anyones intention to pass off work or writing as their own, including myself. Unfortunately not everything has been properly sited, this is all. We hope now that anything read in a paper will be properly sited in future.

ReportYes Edna, I believe it will be money well spent. If you look on our campaign website (http://tinyurl.com/3ypdpbc) you'll see the many deaths and serious injuries - just in this 250 metres of road - has cost the taxpayer over £11M. And money well spent - what cost a life? There's been an average of 2 deaths annually just on this bend so we believe it certainly is worth it. One of the many problems on this bend has been the obverse camber - it tips drivers into the dyke. They will also be super-elevating the bend and putting double white lines - all will help. There will still be the mad drivers but we believe the major works will cut the tragedies down.

ReportIt seems one accident blackspot on Sutton Road, near Gypsy Lane is going to be in for substancial improvements. Alot has already been done with chevrons being erected on the bend and 40mph sign being put in place, on the journey into Wisbech. The work will involve widening, resurfacing of some sort to improve the skid resistance. The work will start next month and there maybe disruption to traffic as the road will have to be closed for maybe 10 days. This could be a hardship to lorries if they have to go via small country lanes, unless of course they are diverted elsewhere....we will have to see if this takes place. What are your thoughts of spending £350.000 on this, will it be money well spent?
