Adventure playgorund nears completion

The Wisbech Adventure Playground is one step closer to completion now that the final piece of play equipment has been installed.

The 'self build' area is the first of its kind in the world and has been

specially designed for the playground on Waterlees Road.

The climbing frame posts have been installed and children using the site

will be able to attach decks and side panels to make platforms and

dens. The equipment also has a series of climbing nets and rope walkways

that can all be adjusted and moved by the children as part of their

play.

The decks, sides and nets will be available to use during staffed sessions at the playground.

The official opening event for the playground will be on Saturday, May 7

from 12pm - 4pm. More details about the opening event will be
