Go on Wisbech People, Pamper Yourself!

We can all breathe a sigh of relief as we send those

troublesome kiddywinks back to school, but now what? Well we all have to work

so it’s not going to be an easy ride, just easier

perhaps.

We were thinking here at Wisbechpeople where we could go to

treat ourselves and give ourselves a celebratory treat for working so hard or

the parents will need something to replenish their batteries after six long

weeks of children’s days out.

I think considering we’re talking about pampering we should

start with the ladies. Now firstly we might decide we want a new hairstyle.

Hair is the accessory we wear every day so in theory this is what we should be

spending our most money and attention on, although admittedly we probably won’t.

Now there are plenty of hairdressers dotted around the

Wisbech area and if you’re anything like me you will have a favourite one that

you always go to. The first one that springs to mind is Top to Toe on Hill

Street because it offers both hair and beauty services. So you need not go

anywhere else you can pop in for an all day treat, well a few hours at least!

If it’s just a new ‘do you’re after then you can always pop

to the Fleur De Lys hairdressers on The Old Market, or there’s Salon 2 down

Market Street which always looks very inviting and professional from the

outside. If I didn’t have my own family hairdresser then I would definitely

give these a look in.

If you are a male and want to go to a Barbers there is

Clippers on Hill Street and K S Independent Barbers on Norfolk Street as two

examples.

Of course if these don’t take your fancy there are plenty of

others in our directory for you to choose from!

You might want to get your nails done, especially now there’s

no running around after the children all the time the nails might stay intact a

Street if you want to get yourself down there.

If you want to travel a little further afield to Walpole St.

Peter then try the Lotus Beauty Room. It’s a relatively small business but that

doesn’t mean that you won’t be completely satisfied with what they have to

offer. On the menu is a selection of Beauty and Holistic treatments including

manicures and pedicures. They also hold Pamper parties for up to six ladies at

a time, so why not take your friends and get yourself down there!

If of course you cannot for whatever reason travel to these

places there are always the mobile services. Beauty Essence is a mobile service

providing hair and beauty treatments straight to your door. So why not give

them a call and have a look at the photographs they have uploaded here on

WisbechPeople.

Guys and girls, now that summer is over acquiring that tan

may be slightly more difficult but not if you are a visitor to a tanning salon.

If you have never been or don’t know where to go there is The Tanning Studio in

the Market Place as well as others located in our directory.

If the ladies want everything in one place there is The Esselle

Studio on Regal Road where they offer various different gym sessions and hair

and beauty treatments, so please give them a call should you think they offer

what you want.
