A1101 Closed From the 4th October

I have seen the sign saying the A1101 will be closed for a few days while they carry out the improvements to the stretch of road we have so often talked about on here.

I'm sure we are all intrigued to see these "improvements" when they are done, but in the mean time we have to suffer the consequences of the diversions set in place. We have already been discussing that our rural roads are suffering from some severe potholes and now we will have large, heavy vehicles thundering through them.

What do you think this will do? Will they make any difference?
