You starting to understand my point of view Traci..i don't write these posts for too quote Cllr Steve Tierney 'Crowd pleasing prejudice' .http://tinyurl.com/4b9ffa8
Bubbleboy, I have no problem with your style or rhetoric usually - but that post I did have a problem with. I'm sure you'd prefer me to say so honestly rather than snipe at you behind your back. We can disagree as gentlemen without it being an issue, I reckon?
In regards to local crime - I wish everybody would report issues to the police. Too many are moaned about but unreported. Even though I understand this (and have done it myself) I suspect if the true figure were known we'd see a starker picture.
My hope is that the changes in the constabulary - with elected police chiefs coming soon - will be a real driver for change.

ReportWe can hope Steve We can hope ...Sorry you thought i was sniping behind your back, that is not my style,My main problem is with Wisbech town council or should i say Jurassic park..so its nice to have a young raptor like yourself on there :) knowledgeable enough to know the deathknell of local politics and councillors is about 5 years away.my local community facebook group gets 200,000 post views a week..i should not being get those kind off numbers,People like you should, but unlike my tongue your hands are tied ..you are a good man Mr Tierney enjoyed our debates but I'm taking a break from the internet for a bit,its turning me into a monster...or maybe that's Wisbech take care BB
Actually, Bubbleboy, my blog gets a pretty good hit rate too. But hits are not necessarily "visitors" either there, or on facebook. The internet is somewhat more subtle than that.
I'm not on the town council, by the way. Though my good friend Cllr Samantha Hoy is (and a fine job she does too!)
I promise you - my hands are not tied. I challenge problems where I see them without any fear of doing so.
While you and I may not agree on all issues - I think we share a love of the Fens and of Wisbech. With that in mind, if there's ever anything I can do to help - let me know.
Hope you return to the internet soon. The more the merrier, I say!
