So yet again Wisbech is in the news and not for a good reason....the BBC covered a story last week suggesting that because one third of the population here is made up of migrant workers, there has been an increase in attacks in the town on people from East Europe. What hasn't been fully investigated is whether the attacks are between different groups of migrant workers or between local people and the workers from Lithiania and Latvia. Either way, it's not true that any publicity is goodpublicity. All anyone outside this area ever gets to hear about us seems to be negative at the moment.
