Thomas Clarkson Community College year 11 pupils have failed to meet the Government target of 35% of pupils achieving five GCSE's at grades A* to C. The College Principal thinks that by focusing on academic achievements, the government is trying to devalue vocational courses yet many employers think vocational courses are much more relevant to finding work.
