The Olympic Torch Relay route has completely snubbed the whole of Fenland, prefering to take a route from Peterborough to Norwich which involves going north to Market Deeping and Bourne and then east into Spalding before joining the A17 at Holbeach and heading off to Long Sutton, the closest it gets to us.

In fact, the route only includes 3 places in in the whole of Cambridgeshire as it overnights in Cambridge, before making its way to Bedford via St Ives and Huntingdon.

I'm hoping Steve Barclay will have something to say about it...
