    Police are on the lookout for thieves who stole a tractor from a farm in Wisbech. Offenders took the red Case International 856, registration D271XDO, from Elm Low Road between 7.30pm on Thursday August 9 and 7.30am the following day. An attached planting machine was also taken.     Cambrideshire Police seized more than 100 cannabis plants with a potential street value of more than £40,000 following raids on Thursday, January 26. The plants were discovered at a properties in Gadds Lane, near Wisbech, and in Throckenholt, near Wisbech.     I know this has been discussed ad nauseum over the years but the news that the Marketplace is to be made more 'pedestrian friendly' has puzzled me.     A woman assaulted a publican at the Black Bear in Oldy Lynn Road, Wisbech on Sunday, October 23.   Police are now appealing for witnesses to the attack in which a 48-year-old was punched in the face.
