    Cambrideshire Police seized more than 100 cannabis plants with a potential street value of more than £40,000 following raids on Thursday, January 26.     I know this has been discussed ad nauseum over the years but the news that the Marketplace is to be made more 'pedestrian friendly' has puzzled me.     A woman assaulted a publican at the Black Bear in Oldy Lynn Road, Wisbech on Sunday, October 23.   Police are now appealing for witnesses to the attack in which a 48-year-old was punched in the face.     Police are asking for information following the attack on July 16
    A man was knocked unconscious during a robbery in Wisbech. The incident happened between 2am and 3am on Saturday, July 16)in the park off Alexandra Road. The 38-year-old man was walking through the park when he was approached by two youths, who assaulted him and stolen his watch, phone, cash and several cards.
