I'm sure we have all been aware of the fake shop frontages that have been painted along some of the empty shops in our town. I am undecided whether they are a good thing or a bad thing. Yes they cover up the emptiness of the buildings and add a little bit of colour to an otherwise neglected outlet but what is it saying about our town? The move to relocate the taxi rank from the Horsefair to an area near The Case has always been a touchy subject with all Wisbech citizens that both do and do not use the service. How long has this been talked about and almost done but not actually carried out? Well it appears that Fenland Council have made a decision that they want to limit the amount of vehicle traffic in the Market Place much to the annoyance of market tradesman. There will be a limited number of disabled spaces for those more unable to park further away and any deliveries from larger vehicles will need some kind of electronic access....
