If you are all shopped out and need a cultural break, the Wisbech and Fenland Museum is the place to go. Located just off The Crescent and opposite the Castle, the museum could be easily overlooked which is a shame because it contains some very interesting exhibits AND is one of the oldest museums in the UK. Focused on Wisbech's life as a port, and also on the life and times of the Clarkson family, there's also a stunning exhibit of the Elm Post Office and General Store which brings back a few memories. Entry is free and the museum is open from 10am-4pm Tuesday to Saturday. There are also a range of events during the year-contact the museum for details
