Unfortunately the body recently found on the Royal Estate at Sandringham that has been in all the papers over the last couple of days has been identified as that of the missing Wisbech teenager Alisa Dmitrijeva. The 17 year old had not been seen since shortly after midnight in Friars Street, King's Lynn, on August 31. She was reported missing by a relative on September 6.

Police had created a Facebook advert targeted at people living in Wisbech, Norfolk and Lincolnshire to try to find the missing teenager with a reward of £500 being offered for information that leads to officers tracing her.
Her body was found by a dog walker in woodland at Anmer, near King's Lynn, on New Year's Day in an area used regularly for pheasant and partridge shoots, often attended by members of the royal household.
Naturally the Police have spoken to the gamekeeper, estate manager and beaters at Sandringham for any possible leads and they wish to speak to anyone who may have been in the area between the end of August and the end of September.
Police said it was "highly unlikely" Miss Dmitrijeva had died through natural causes though there is no evidence of wounds due to firearms or a bladed weapon. There no evidence of accidental injury either.
Identifying the body did prove to be difficult for forensic investigators who where only finally able to identify the Latvian-born Miss Dmitrijeva by comparing details from her palm with previously held records.
In a press statement, Miss Dmitrijeva's family said they were "devastated" by news of her death.

That is really sad news. I think we all hoped she would turn up alive somewhere. My thoughts now are with her family.
