Wisbech HSBC Bank Ram Raid Arrests

Police have arrested two men in connection with a ram-raid on a Wisbech bank. Officers carried out a warrant at a premises in Garden Lane, Wisbech St Mary, at about 7.30am today (September 4). They also discovered 14 cannabis plants.

The men, aged 50 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and the latter also on suspicion of producing cannabis.
Five men wearing balaclavas used a JCB to break into HSBC in Cornhill in the early hours of August 2. The JCB and a 4x4 vehicle were seized by police.
The two men, who are from the Wisbech area, have been taken into custody at King's Lynn. Police also want to question them about a simultaneous raid in Long Sutton, when raiders got away with a cash machine.
