Man knocked unconscious during robbery

A man was knocked unconscious during a robbery in Wisbech.

The incident happened between 2am and 3am on Saturday, July 16)in the park off Alexandra Road.

The 38-year-old man was walking through the park when he was approached by two youths, who assaulted him and stolen his watch, phone, cash and several cards.

The phone is a Sony Ericsson Music model, grey and slides open to reveal the keypad.

The victim suffered bruising as a result of the incident.

The men are white and described as being in their teens, slim wearing jeans and hooded tops.

DC Mark Yendley, investigating, said: "This was a nasty attack and it is vital we trace those responsible.

"I would urge anyone with information about the incident or the two offenders to get in touch."
